Hoodsport, WA, and more...

We had quite the busy weekend, John's sister and her family were up in Washington on Sunday camping and diving in Hoodsport, for her husbands birthday. Of course we didn't dive as we don't do that, however it was just nice to spend the day with family, despite the nasty weather.

Then on Sunday the sun decided to come back out, so we went to town and did a little shopping, bought some more veggies for the garden, and then also a few things for the baby. We worked outside for quite a while and soaked up the rays, and then we had a nice dinner, and now it's back to work for John, and time to focus on school for me!

The yellow pear tomatoes.

Break time! The raccoon was in the tree so we were feeding him left over bread!

Our new chairs, and me at 23 weeks...

Another belly shot!

Our little visitor.

Couldn't resist her little cupcake outfit!!!

Now all we need are some little Romeo's.

Surgery...

A few months ago John broke his scaphoid bone in his wrist while riding his quad... He was in a cast for about two and a half months, then the doctors decided the best thing to do would be to perform surgery on his wrist. So last Thursday we were up bright and early and at the hospital by 6:30 am to have his wrist worked on, to say the least it was an early morning/long day. At about 11:00 am, they completed his surgery, he now has a screw in his wrist, and they also had to insert a bone graft. We go in this Monday to have the stitches taken out, and have either a splint, or another cast put on him. He has a long road to recovery ahead of him, however we are hopeful that he can beat the odds, and still be capable of doing all of the things he used to do, such as riding his quad, and all the other guy things that they do!!!

Madalyn Marie

We had our sonogram on March 30th, and we finally were able to find out what I have "baking in my oven"! We are expecting a little girl, she is due on August 17, 2010. We have decided to name her Madalyn Marie... This little girl will be very spoiled, and loved by all, and we cannot wait to meet her! The doctors said that she is looking healthy, her brain, and spine looked great, and she was weighing in at 12 ounces on March 30th. I have been feeling her kick here and there, and it is the oddest feeling, but at the same time it is nice to know that she is doing ok in there!

Here are some recent pictures, some are from an ultrasound taken on February 11th before our move to the Northwest, and then the rest are from our sonogram on March 30th.
