Hello All...
So for the latest and greatest at the Barackman household, here goes nothing!!!
We have bought and moved into our first home, it is a one story, three bedroom, two full bath home on a cul-de-sac with a large yard, and a two car garage... We love our new home and we are adjusting to being homeowners! We have already done some updates which include having bamboo flooring installed, and new carpet installed in all the bedrooms. The next major project is prepping the yard and getting that together, and then we will paint rooms etc... in the spring time, since we will need to have ample ventilation with little Miss Madalyn in the home!
John is doing well at work, he is very busy. He received an award this past week commending him on his outstanding leadership as a soldier, so things are good in that department!
I am starting school again on Monday, I will be taking a class regarding the American Constitution and another class about the History of the Vietnam War. I look forward to learning some new and interesting things! I passed last quarter with a 4.0 GPA so that is pretty good considering all that we were going through during this past quarter!
Now for the update that most of you who read this blog are looking for... Madalyn is now seven months! She is currently weighing in at a healthy 16 lb 4 oz... I think we are hitting a teething stage as the past two nights she has decided to grace me with her presence every hour to two hours!!! LOVELY!!! Madalyn scoots around on the floor now, and she has been getting up on all fours and rocking back and forth, so I believe it's a matter of time before we have her crawling all around the house! She talks a lot and as always LOVES to play with her toys... We are also working on eating more baby food, she loves Carrots, Sweet Potatoes, and we had some Pears last night which she did ok with...
Well that is about it for us right now... I will update again when we have time! Sorry it has taken so long, I hope everyone is healthy and happy, and doing well.
